This recipe site is, at this time, mostly for me. I like saving and organizing my recipes here so I can easily access them later.

At some point, I may develop this further and open it up for search engines.

Style Guide

Since I have no editor, I endeavor to follow my own personal style guide in writing. It sometimes deviates from standard American writing customs (most closely associated with the AP Style Book).

I dislike punctuation inside of quotes unless the punctuation is relevant to the quote. Some illustrative examples:

• Sam asked Paul, “Do you like going to the park?” This works because the quote itself is a question.
• Do you think Sam told Paul “eat your dinner”? In the standard American style, the question mark would go inside the quotes. But that looks awful to me and misrepresents what happened.
